Learn about the life cycle of a plant and what it needs to grow by visiting Alstede Farms exhibit room. Children will be able to “play in the dirt” and learn how to transplant a vegetable or flower, then take it home and help it grow. "Close Encounters with Birds of Prey".  See six live raptors, a hawk, a falcon, two owls, and an eagle - up close!  Learn about predator/prey relationships, wildlife rehabilitation, specific adaptations of the birds present, and various issues facing wildlife today.

Robotics Demonstration  NYU Tandon School of Engineering
Room 35    9:30 - 1:30
NYU’s Summer Program for Automation Robotics and Coding (SPARC) is proud to present hands-on robotic exhibit taught by STEM Professionals. As part of our program students will learn how to use micro-controllers, interface sensors and actuators through the components provided in the robotic kit. Along with practical implementation, they will be given an insight into the history of robotics, and a glimpse of what the future holds for the automation industry and those who are a part of it.

The Physics of Volleyball  Xtreme Volleyball Academy

Come check out our hands-on display of a Vert Technology wearable jump monitor, an innovative technology that helps measure players' vertical jump height.  Additionally, compare different types of volleyballs and see how different factors effect the physics of each ball.

Morris County Bomb Squad Robot  Chester Police Department

On behalf of the Chester Police, the Morris County Sheriff’s Department Bomb Squad will be in attendance with an exhibit for all to see.  Items present will include their robots and other specialized equipment used by this unit in handling suspected bombs and other incendiary devices.
